Introducing…Equality 101, a group blog for teachers focused on diversity in every sense of the word
Gender Across Borders is happy to announce the launch of a new group blog for teachers called Equality 101 (http://equality101.net). At this blog, authors (including yours truly) will post lessons, articles, and thoughts about diversity in K-12 and post-secondary education. Diversity can mean anything from tackling issues like racism, sexism, and classism in the classroom to inspiring diverse learners in any sense of the word.
Equality 101 has provided a new space where teachers can specifically address intersectional issues of race, gender, class, and sexuality. I am honored to be a part of this project, where I can share and discuss my ideas and opinions about education as I embark on my educational career.
You can also find Equality 101 on Twitter at @equality101blog and Facebook.
If you’re interested in writing for Equality 101, please submit a short bio and a sample of your education-related writing to staff@equality101.net.
